Rock and Roll is a music style, which was born in United States, by the end of the 40’s decade and beginning of the 50’s. It had its roots in musical styles like: country, blues, R&B and gospel, which was quickly spreaded throughout the world.

Before Rock and Roll, all music was categorized by race, nationality, location, style, instrumentation, vocal techniques and even religion.
However, with all its popularity and commercial success of Elvis Presley in 1956, Rock and Roll became an angular object of the american musical industry.
The music was never defined and categorized in the sameway again, and nowadays is one of the most consumed music styles in the United States.
